Paper Clips

This award winning and inspiring documentary tells the story of how students in a small Tennessee high school started working on a history assignment that snowballed into a unique and touching Holocaust memorial which gained worldwide attention. Whilst studying the Holocaust, one student stated that it was impossible to imagine the murder of 6 million Jews, as it is impossible to imagine 6 million of anything. The school started to collect 6 million paper clips (which Norwegians wore on their lapels to show solidarity with the Jews' plight during the war), a local story that captured the hearts of America. A must watch film for anyone wanting a better insight into one of the most important lessons in modern history.
